I get Supported DB Extensions:

None

when i go through the install wizard. But i dont see where the install instructions say anything about this?

I also get PHP XML Extensions:

Not Installed
and
Configuration File Writable:

[b]Not Writable[/b]

even though i did all the chmod commands? Note that this is a fresh Ubuntu 20/04 installed previosuly to installing mybb. I install mysql server and php. Am i missing something?

Probably PHP modules are missing: php-mysql (and mysql-client), php-xml, ...
You can create a phpinfo() page to know which modules are installed and loaded

i seemed to have remedied this issue. Thank you.
