I have just installed myBB after using webwiz forum for a long time. So far, I love it! Simple to use and a great admin area. I did look at adding the downloads mod, but it looks a tad above my skills level

However, what I like about this site is the front end, the portal. I see threads talking about the portal, but where can I get it? All I have is the forum!

My forum just 12 hours old at the time of posting!

It's a file called portal.php. I would agree though that it's not as advertised as it should be. You can change the settings for the portal in your admin CP settings.

AH! So I already have it huh? Sorry to be thick, but ummmm, what do I do with it?

Well you usually redirect people to the portal instead of them going to the index... As to the best way to do that, I'm not sure. Probably htaccess. I don't think you can just rename them.
