Really useful plugin, thx!
Hi Omar,
Can you verify that the plugin still works with MyBB 1.8.33?
I just installed it (the updated version with contact form) and when I try to install it in the ACP I just get "HTTP ERROR 500".
I recently changed my PHP from 7.2 to 8.0.27, maybe that's the reason?
It is possible related to your PHP version, yes. I will be updating most of my plugin later this year for PHP 8.2+.
Hello, any news about an update? I have installed but the captcha doesn't appears when posting. Thanks
Thanks!
Regarding the option "First Post Only - Require a captcha only when posting threads (first post)." there is a possibility to modify the setting in order to affect the first post of everybody after the installation of this plugin, not the first post of a username with zero posts?
For instance, I have cases of broken accounts, with both 8 or 150 posts in history, used by spammers to post spam-like replies on threads. Would be extremely useful to set a zero moment (the installation of a plugin) and from that point require a one-time captcha for the first post of every user registered in the forum.
Hey, I see there might be some confusion caused by that setting, so I will reword its name and description for later versions.
The feature you ask for is achievable, but it is not part of this plugin at the moment. If you need this addition, feel free to send me a message so we can talk about it.
Alternatively, you could try the following plugin, which is what we use here to catch most spamming posts :
