Dear community, sorry in advance for the question of newbie but after extended research not able to find an answer (perhaps not the right key words).
i'm running a wordpress blog on a domain; let's say http://example.com. The blog is at the root of the domain and working perfectly well.
The domain is provided by O2Switch.

I would like to install a myBB forum in http://example.com/forum.
I uploaded the "upload" folder of myBB v1.8.24 into the forum folder (creation of the folder and upload done through FTP. I also updated the rights 777 to the different folders and files.

When i want to launch the installation through http://example.com/forum/install, i have a page on the blog saying that the webpage does not exists.

I undertsand that perhaps i missed something concerning the domain configuration or somewhere else that my low level of knowledge can not solve.

Could you help me on this topic ?

Thanks in advance for your support.
Hmm, without knowing more information, I'd have to look at it a little more closely perhaps. What host are you using? Are you using nginx by chance?

You should not upload the "upload" folder, only its contents.

You should rename the 'upload' to 'forum', and then upload it.
Hello, sorry for the late reply. In fact i made a stupid mistake. My host provider structure ask to put the web site under the « www » folder. So i created the following path/folder « /www/forum » and uploaded myBB information to this path and worked like a charm.

Thanks a lot for your time and support.
