Hello!

We had a forum years ago that we shut down, but a few of us were interested in rebooting it.. so we have a domain name registered, but we were still trying to get the backup to work.

We did a backup from the ACP with all templates/css sheets but when we uploaded the file to our database, nothing is showing in the mybb area...

So the backup was installed to the root folder with assistance of our host - as the file was too large.  However, I'm struggling to figure out where to go from here.  in the config.php the file points to that database... So what's the next step?

I feel like I'm missing something here...

I guess you mean you did a restore of a database backup from ACP Tools & Maintenance.  So what did you do for the mybb physical files - php etc?

I realized that I had nothing else - other than the acp backups.. so I'm trying to go from scratch now lol..
