Hey there,
I was wondering how to show (every) subforums on each and every page?

I tried adding $forums = $forum_list['forum_list']; in global.php and calling it out in the header template ({$forums}) but it obviously didn't work, hence this thread.

Any idea how I could achieve this?

On each and every page, including index, showthread, and custom pages?

Absolutely. It would be some kind of always-available forums navigation.
