Help!

I just uploaded the Easy Install v1.2 to the forum part of the server, and i activated it.

Now, the plugins page of the admin CP just displays the following error message:

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried deleting the plugin off the server, but it just stayed the same. I re-uploaded it incase it caused any further danger.

Does anyone know how to sort it out? How can i get it back to normal?

I had this problem and it is easily fixed:

1) Locate the file /admin/plugins.php
2) Chmod plugins.php to 755
3) Reload the plugins page of the admin panel
4) Activate Easy Install plugin

For some servers, chmodding to 777 creates internal server errors, so use 755.
