In Recent threads on index, edit line 261 of inc/plugins/recentthread.php and replace 'sid' => '$sid', with 'sid' => $sid,

i'm having a similar issue as well,



no error code, when i check the error log i don't see anything. also i checked mySQL and it's not under strict mode either.

i have been downloading other plugins in the meantime and they are working fine. so it's that plugin i believe
