Inserting HTML/CSS/JavaScript code into templates is a usual way for modifying the forum. Could you please describe how it doesn't work? Did the AdminCP give you any error messages?

AdminCp does not give any errors, it is just that the Altervista advertising banner is not displayed.

Do you have any ads blocker enabled for your browser? Or if you're using Firefox, what's the level for "Enhanced Tracking Protection"?

Solved, it was a problem with the cockie policy.
