So I'm having this MySQL error:




Error log:

2021-01-10 09:54:11.614143 [INFO] [23182] [185.191.171.16:11670#APVH_chillforums.com:443] File not found [/home/chil17224819/public_html/404.shtml]

I post a new thread because I had one before and it was really old and had other errors in it

Hi,

I didn't see any MySQL error in your post, maybe you have a problem when you copy/paste it...

About the error log:

1] 404.shtml problem:

check your .htaccess file, and look ofr something like: 
ErrorDocument 404 /404.shtml

Just remove the line or create an HTML file called "404.shtml" and place it in your root folder.

2] robots.txt problem:

Bots like Google's bot (Bing, Yandex, etc.) request this particular file before checking your website.
Please create this file following this info:

https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/robots/create-robots-txt?hl=en

As mentioned above (thank you NoRules) that isn't an SQL error. An SQL error would like [Image: Config.png]
Can you let us know if you do have a message like that or if it is just the message mentioned in your original post?

Note, I've used a 1.6 screenshot from the documentation.

Yes I had one of these errors on my forum when registering. It's still showing that though:

My error handling settings:

My cpanel error log:

What am I doing wrong? I'm also not receiving emails from the error log if I put it on email, neither do I receive emails from the contact form. Please help

The image is of the server errors rather than MyBB's error log. Can you check in your ftp for MyBB's error log and show us that?

Those errors seem to relate to issues that may be solved by disabling strict mode for mysql. A guide to do this would be - https://www.knowledgebase-script.com/kb/...l-163.html but it may vary depending on your specific set up.
