Well, the software behind the forum (MyBB) is free.

You can however get free hosting packages from people such as Freehostia (www.freehostia.com) which has no banner ads and a MySQL database but it is limited in space. You can get paid for hosting accounts and they vary in price depending on the features.

If You Are Looking For A Hosting Service To Host MyBB You Need To Have The Following Features:-

*- php Conpatible
*- MySQL

And That Is It!

I Hope I Have Helped In Your Query!

Yes, but its sooner or later, it will update to version 1.2

Hosting at CreateMyBB also saves the hassle of upgrading your forums from time to time as they will do it for you.
Upgrading MyBB Is Also Easy And If You Host Your Own Forum You Can Install Whateva Plug Ins You Like Where As CreateMyBB Is Limited. You Also Have More Control Over Your Forum Than CreateMyBB
Yes, but some people are not as good.
MyBB Makes Installing Plug-Ins Easy. It Is Just A Case Of Uploading The Plug In File To inc/plugins and mayby language files. And It Used To Be That You Had To Make A Code Modification But This IS Unlikely Since The New Version.

You Also Get Great Support From MyBB And The MyBB Mod And MyBB Community!
