To include first attachment thumbnail. Or to be able to set this up (preferred)
And some small annotation. Also would be nice to set this up manually. 
To be able to display in forum dispay either instead of standard thread list or mouse over as an extra

You can use xthread and little bit modification. You'll get the desired result.

Thanks for the info. I tried it and it worked perfect for me, now I have a new visualization of the forum!
