Hello, I am a owner of a forum website and received a “Internal Error”, error type: “MyBB Error (44)”, error message: “MyBB was unable to load the SQL extension.”

I have attached a screenshot of the error page. Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Make sure you check your database type. If you don't know, ask your host and they can help you.

Typically this will happen when the database type is set to "mysql" and needs to be changed to "mysqli".
