Why do stupid people talk soo much? Also why do people who are clearly dumber than you insist on giving unsolicited advice
People have a need to be heard to satisfy social needs, unfortunately because educational systems are poor people usually have poor conversation material or skills, so some people would just say whatever is in their arsenal to not be silent.

The more you educate yourself the more stupid other's conversations might sound to you (not a rule but quite common).

But I think you can't be the smart one if you aren't capable of understanding the deep feelings or ideas people try to share through poor conversation or pondering skills, regardless of how stupid they might sound.

Of course all or parts of this might sound narcissistic or pedantic.
laughing with a mouthful of coffee @ this laughable subject matter this morn while simply enjoying re-reading some of the following, amusing quotes:

Quote:Odious ideas are not entitled to hide from criticism behind the human shield of their believers feelings. ~ Richard Stallman

A commune is where people join together to share their lack of wealth. ~ Richard Stallman

Twenty percent of all input forms filled out by people contain bad data. ~ Dennis Ritchie

"The thing about smart people is that they seem like crazy people to dumb people."  ~  Stephen Hawking.

“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning. ~ Richard Cook

Sharing knowledge is the most fundamental act of friendship. Because it is a way you can give something without losing something." ~ Richard Stallman

Anything that prevents you from being friendly, a good neighbour, is a terror tactic. ~ Richard Stallman

Talking about freedom, about ethical issues, about responsibilities as well as convenience, is asking people to think about things they might prefer to ignore, such as whether their conduct is ethical. This can trigger discomfort, and some people may simply close their minds to it. It does not follow that we ought to stop talking about these things. ~ Richard Stallman

Without absolute certainty, what do we do? We do the best we can. Injustice is happening now; suffering is happening now. We have choices to make now. To insist on absolute certainty before starting to apply ethics to life decisions is a way of choosing to be amoral. ~ Richard Stallman

Whether gods exist or not, there is no way to get absolute certainty about ethics. Without absolute certainty, what do we do? We do the best we can. ~ Richard Stallman

anyhoo, thank you for simply providing some of my early morning laughs, carry on, lads.... Wink

Dunning-Kruger effect?

Some people really, really like the sound of their voice, almost to the point of it being some kind personal aphrodisiac for them, besides, if these people aren't around to proudly showcase their ignorance, then how would the rest of us know how ignorant they are?
