I am new to all this and I am trying to find out how to install the Emerald Extended theme which I just purchased. I have uploaded it to the public_html in the upload file in cpanel and unzipped it. Now where do I put the files? I am completely lost now. The instructions that came with it didn't say where to put them either from what I read and I cannot find any support for this.
The zip file will usually contain an "images" folder (sometimes other folders as well depending on the developer). You have to upload the contents inside that "images" folder to "your-mybb-installation/images"
Then there will be an xml file inside the package.
1. You have to go to Admin CP > Themes > Import a theme
2. Choose the xml file
3. Click on import theme (if it doesn't work check "Ignore Version Compatibility" and them import)
4. Click on Themes again to get back to the themes list
5. Click on the Blue Arrow in the row there you see your new theme.
