Those items aren't built in to the current version of the shoutbox. I don't mind considering adding a few items to a future version, but I don't want to add too much. This is only intended as a light shoutbox.
That doesn't look like my plugin. I think it's one that has been custom coded or downloaded from somewhere else.
Either way, you can achieve something similar with my plugin. Instructions on how to add the shoutbox to the index page are here:

That's the Beta Ajax Shoutbox. I believe it was talked about on the main MyBB forum.
