When will version 2 of mybb forum be released? I see that this section has been talked about since 2015.

2.0 has been put on hold to advance the 1.x branch instead with 1.9 and 1.10.
However, looking at the various forums mybb 1.8.26 to date is the only free forum updated.
It is also better than vbulletin 4 and 5.
Today they are not used much anymore but it would be nice if you considered updating to version 2 with all the rules of the 2020s
