Can the theme's colour be changed to blue from purple?

And also I see the 'Side bar' is present in this theme. Can this sidebar be enabled to all of the pages? I mean in homepage ofcourse then in the sub-category pages and also finally in those pages when discussions are opened.

It depends if the content of the sidebar can be shown in showthread. In forumdisplay it can most of the times, but especially if you are using content from plugins in the sidebar, it can only be shown on index. To implement the sidebar itself as simple framework would be know problem. Just look into the index template and copy the sidebar from there. On the other hand you could show other content on showthread sidebar.
