When I activate the plugin of phpFreeChat and come to the forum it will show the error as the attached file. Do you can use this plugin? Can you explain to me please?

I had the same problem but could fix it:
just check the Path to the chat-folder in the chat-settings in ur admin-cp.
U have to write the whole url in "phpFreeChat Root Directory"
this was my problem but after i copied the whole url showed to me in the
error-page i was able to fix this

Now, I not sure about my install phpfreechat. How to install it? I only extract and copy to my server. It's true or not?
And can you show example of URL in "phpFreeChat Root Directory" to me?

I think you need to type the whole url for your chat, for instance.
http://www.yourforum/chat
Also, yes, to install the chat software, all you do is upload the files to your server. There is no install file you need to run.
Also, could you upload this plugin and attach it here? I can't seem to find it on the site anymore, and I'd like to take a look at the code! I'd appreciate it!

If yes, u should take a closer look at the url in the error-msg:
i managed to copy the url given in the last error-msg , in ur case
"d:\ip1\chaime.net\phimai2004\board\" and added the chat-folder, in my
case it was "\phpchat" for the whole url i needed to get this plugin to work.
As far i can see ur using any webserver on ur local-drive, arent u?

Summary Step of Install:
1. Upload phpFreeChat and plugin to the server.
2. Activate plugin and set "phpFreeChat Root Directory" follow as your web root ex.
http://www.yourweb.com/phpfreechat or if it has an error, copy and paste it into "phpFreeChat Root Directory"
3. Enjoy!
