I have edited all the default help docs, but when I visit the help docs page on my forum it shows the default docs and not my docs, even though in ACP my changes are saved.

The sql fix worked for me and I've never looked back:

Standard caveat - back up your database before messing around.  Although never had any issues with that update query.

That did not work, i ran both the commands on the database and i went refresh the page and still the default ones.

I'd be looking in the database for my changed docs then.

We're on 1827, still works fine for me.
