Hi!

Is there a mod or plugin wich allows you to write articles and display them in a short version on the portal?
If not, does a pretty good tutorial exist wich describes how to develop plugins?

Well you know that portal gets its news from thread posted in forum X?

Yes, I know that. But I thought something like an Article System where you have several chapters, jump between them via dropdown-List, etc.
There is something in that way on vBulletin...

You can always edit the portal template manually and add whatever content you want, you may adda new box, and for this article thing, if you want it to load new pages inline use it in an iframe. I donno if you know much about xHTML but i'm just giving ideas.
