Hello guys

Wheln I try to post new thread in MyBB 1.8.27, from moderator or supermoerator user, I receive

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access this resource.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Why?

This is a file permission error , make sure root files have 644 permission

Unlikely to be file permissions as the reply page wouldn't have loaded in the first place.

What was the content of the post? Can you check with your host if you have mod_security enabled?

[bold] [img] [italic] and mod_security is enabled

It sounds like something within the post content has triggered the mod_security rules and blocked the request. You'll need to either disable mod_security, or ask your host to see if they can see what rules were triggered and if they can change the config.
