I've looked around the forum and it seems several users can't edit help docs through the ACP. I'm on a new install, no plugins, no theme and I have to go into the files to edit the help docs. Any workaround or waiting on an update?

I'd give this thread and associated links a read.  Works fine for me.  Although caching can come into play when you change source in the database:
