Welcome to Socialgroups for 1.8.  This version is written significantly different than the version for 1.6.  The database structure is different as well as the whole way files are written.  It is now heavily object oriented.

This plugin enables users to create and manage their own social groups.  There are settings for how many groups a usergroup can create.  This *should* be compatible with PHP 8, but if there are issues with that, let me know.

I'm currently working on making it track the number of groups, groupthreads, and groupposts when you view the forum statistics page. I have the task already created for it, but now I just need to figure out how I want to do the actual output for both the ACP page and the front facing page.
