The attachment quota displayed in the UserCP -> Manage Attachments differs to the information displayed in the attachment box within the new thread page and presumably the new reply and edit post pages as well.

The quota gets calculated live in attachment box while adding / removing the attachments.
The usercp performs an orphan cleanup silently before calculating the quota.

This might be the cause of different values, but as much I can recall I checked the values while implementing the codes to calculate and change the quota through AJAX and found no discrepancy as such.
