So my users want to show images on the site but obviously we need to be careful about upload sizes.  I thought you could just use the "insert an image" link and then put the URL for your image but it doesn't seem to work for Amazon photos.

This URL is directly the image: https://www.amazon.com/photos/all/galler...=APH_SNPA7

But using the "insert an image" won't work for it so clearly I need to do something else.  Is there a way to host Amazon Photos through MyBB?

You can put any image URL you like inside [img] tags and it will be embedded, provided it’s a publicly accessible image. That URL is protected by a login so will never work in an image tag, it would need to be uploaded as an attachment.

That URL directs me to a login page. Maybe you need to make the image public? [Doh. I see now that Matt has said much the same thing in his post above.]

Yeah, I don't think Amazon allows that. Oh, well, at least there are other alternatives (not as easy or as forgiving, but at least working).
