Which is good but as a new forum, members and threads are low. Is there any administration method of knowing what or who is increasing the views of threads?

Go to ACP > Configuration > Show Thread Options, there's three options:

Increment Thread View Count on Spider Visits? (default no)
Increment Thread View Count on Guest Visits? (default yes)
Increment Thread View Count on Thread Author Visits? (default yes)

Depending on how these are set may explain some views, otherwise no, there's not a specific log of what caused each view.

Which is further incentive to configure the Spider/Bot section.  Personally, got around 20 defined - but you'd definitely want the heavy hitters IMO.  Like googlebot.

Of course, lots of bots don't have the courtesy of defining themselves.
