hi, i want develop my free plugin
Ajax Forum Stat in my free time .
Please share with me if you have any ideas about the new features.
new features in my mind :
1. use mybb templates for plugin.
2. Reponsive templates
3. optimize codes.
4. change ui structure.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation
This is a different design than what I've been accustomed with another similar mod. Tabbing to select as an option between hottest, and so on. Kudos on it being a recent mod.
But as to ideas, perhaps the inclusion of the "post date/time" and the "Forum" could appear along the same line the rest of the content (be it poster/author or replies/views. There does seem a bit of empty space. Optionally, the ability to have a 'custom' thread-content display where the end user chooses what content (views, replies, poster-name) to be shown after the topic title and in what manner horizontally.
And seriously? In 3 years, this is the first reply?

Hello, due to the lack of user response, I did not spend much time updating this plugin, but if I plan to update the plugin in the future, I will try to include your items as well.
Hello! I want to replace an old and unupdated plugin (Recent threads on index) with your plugin. Seeing no dedicated thread I will write here some questions:
1. In 2025 is this plugin responsive? I will combine with the Curves UI theme, a very nice preview of 1.9, full responsive
2. I have installed your plugin for some tests and nothing appears on index! I have last version of Mybb and PHP 7.4 but tested also with PHP 8.3. Did you know about such problems?
3. The plugin can be modified to redirect users to the latest post unread when they click a thread title in the tab? I think is mandatory...
I come back with some feedback - the plugin is unusable for me and is not a theme problem because I tested on two different themes.
So, with the latest Mybb version and PHP 7.4 or 8.3, no matter, after activating the plugin it freezes both the website and ACP, with no effect if I click in my forum or ACP. Randomly, the ACP tries to reload but without success, and the public forum remains frozen.
After 30 seconds - one minute the forum shows a MySQL severe error (attached). In the meantime, the ACP begins to respond and the only solution is to deactivate the plugin. With this scenario I have my forum back to life.
I think it's a major problem and I recommend to the developer some serious checks.
With Recent threads on index plugin without any support for responsive designs and PHP 8, and with Ajax Forum Stat generating such problems, We have no other plugins to show last threads on index.
