I'm surprised there is not a plugin that expands the color options of the picker. I'm aware we can always use the color css tags, but it'll be nice to have far more possible values to pick, even the ability to put in a css value, then have it create the color tag automatically for us.

You can edit the custom editor but i think the most approach to that could be done by a plugin only for you can get it up to date and use it with your mybb forums by easily. Because if you customize it manually then on updates you may loose anything you had write. So i suppose that can be written as a plugin (Reasons are plugins can add multiple features that mybb has not by default).
