Hi, 
I use a community OVH database MySQL 5.6 and use OVH

I did everything as regarding file permissions.
I noticed my inc/config.php file was absent at the beginning and now is 0kb (as well as settings.php, which was present contrary to config.php), may be this is a clue on my problem ...

when installing just after putting the information on my database I got a 500 error without any traces on my log files ...


So I am not able to test myBB as a replacement of SMF, which I intend to do ...

Could you help ?

config.php gets created during the install process so isn't an issue that it wasn't there.

You'll need to ask your host if they can locate any error logs, there must be some somewhere. We won't really be able to determine what's causing it based on a 500 error alone. Is the MySQL PHP extension installed? What version if PHP are you using?
