MyBB Community Forums

Hello. I'm trying to install MyBB, but it doesn't work. I follow all the steps in the guide:
1. Downloaded the archive with 1.8.29 version.
2. Uploaded it to the hosting in the main directory (is 'public_html').
3. Renamed config.default.php to config.php in 'inc' folder.
4. Changed the permissions for folders and files (

inc/config.php 
inc/settings.php
cache/ 
cache/themes/ 
uploads/ 
uploads/avatars/

5. I open the site
6. But.... nothing.

Are you going to yoursite.com/install?

What PHP version are you running? If you’re just getting a blank page, you may need to ask your host if there’s any server error logs.
