Was this straight after installing the theme? What does the Default Templates set show?

Default theme shows the same thing either:

Have you installed a custom language pack? These should be coming from language files, not sure why yours wouldn't have the proper names.

Can you use phpMyAdmin to browse the mybb_templategroups table and screenshot he first few rows?
