Requiring staff approval may put too much strain, but we're generally on board with a more distributed approach by allowing
Approved Developers' (and possibly other Community members) to affect the verification status of uploaded Builds.

I would be on board to assist with reviewing extensions, whether I return to staff or not. When I know how much course work I will have in my next class, I could make that determination if I have enough free time to reapply for a staff position.
If extensions are not going to require review to be visible, maybe we could at least put a column that says "Submission Status" right under "Last Updated" when you are viewing the individual extension. It would then say who reviewed the code and the date it was checked presuming it passes. If a project has not been reviewed, it would just say "Not Reviewed".
