Is there a widget or script available (written in PHP) that captures say the latest 5 discussions/threads within a MyBB forum and displays each thread title? My idea is to create a student portal that has a "Latest Discussions" section. I want to simply create an HTML table and past the code within a cell. The code will search the MyBB database and retrieve and display the most recent threads within a forum. The intent is so that students are made aware of the activity happening in the forums without actually launching MyBB.
