After following the file permissions guide :

I am still getting these errors when trying to install MyBB

Anything I can do to fix these? 

What permissions did you set them to?

Config file is set to 666 and /cache is set to 777

You may need to check that with your host then, the installer just uses the is_writable PHP function, so if PHP still doesn’t think it can write to the locations even with those permissions then sounds like there’s something very wrong with your server.
