MyBB Community Forums

I'm wanting to create a private section of the forums that is only available to a core team of members to discuss project planning, etc. I know I can set the group to be required, but that still displays the category and it's forums within the main forum page. Is there a setting to make that only visible to members of the group? Or would I need to edit the theme for that? Or maybe I missed a plugin that would help?

Create a new forum as category and allow only mods/admins to see and enter it. In this cat create a new forum with the same permissions only for mods/admins

Alright, I was blind. lol

I forgot to remove the View permissions from the permissions drag-and-drop. I guess I was thinking that was simply a visualization of the permissions, not actually editable there. First time trying to setup a private forum.
