I just moved web hosts and I noticed throughout my forum there are these symbols that appear.
E.g.
« Next Oldest | Next Newest »
What is it the error and how can I fix it?

This is a problem with using a non Unicode character in the database while using a Unicode character set setting in MyBB. This has been fixed in MyBB 1.2.10 (Not out for release) by giving you a tool that allows you to convert to UTF-8
Ah ok, so is that a problem with mybb not something I modded.
So there is no possible fix?
Edit the template and correct it.
Could you be a little more specific, there are many templates in the database and I do not know how to fix this error.
What do I find/replace or change?

You'll find them in the "showthread" (Under "Show Thread Templates") template - if you have a look in that template you should find the "Â" character near the links for next newest/next oldest.
Remove the "Â" character.
