OK. I think this is a common problem but I need to ask anyway because i can't seem to find a solution that works.

I can't create groups on my site. The software needs to write to Usergroups, but i don't have usergroups in my database. I wonder what else is missing.

I am just starting out so I can afford to delete and reinstall, but already tried that and it still same problem....

Ok then, can I install database patch, if so where would i find it to run in phpadmin?

You must have usergroups otherwise you wouldn't be able to log in, and you'd be getting a different error.

Did you download MyBB from this site? I can't see how you'd have whole columns missing. Download a fresh copy, replace your site files with the fresh files, and install again.
