How does that work since it's in XML? Do I need to import it in as a theme in the ACP, or what?

yes just upload it in the admin cp.

Wow that's actually really cool. It give you the look of a portal without the portal. I may use this on my wide screen monitor.

We could use one of the boxes on the left for navigation, right? For example my site has navigation on the left, and it would look better if I could put it there.
