Hello,

I would like to upgrade the PHP, maybe to 8.

my ask should I to disable PHP 5.5.45, install PHP 8 with the server tool, install a new MyBB with the last download.

After that import  my old MySQL data base ? There is intermediate things to do et or another manner to process?

I would like some informatiosn about that before to do anything.

You don't need to install a fresh copy or import a database, you just need to go through the upgrade process: https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/install/upgrade/

You will need to take a backup, but you will only need to import it if the upgrade goes wrong.
