Getting a 500 error right after submitting registration as a new test user.

It's a fresh install with the latest version. Have it set up with ssl, smtp mail, and seo-friendly urls, too.

Any ideas why?

PHP8.1 with all required modules.

You may want to try 8.0 for now, otherwise you'll need to check your server error log to see what the error is.
