You could edit lang files in ACP e.g.:
FORUMURL/admin/index.php?module=config-languages&action=edit&lang=english&editwith=&file=member.lang.php
Edit "email" to:
Email:<br /><i>(only gmail or ymail allowed)</i>
and edit "confirm_email" to:
Confirm Email:<br /><i>(only gmail or ymail allowed)</i>
