Full Version: How to optimize a MYBB Forum for speed + PWA + Push Notifications

We've been using MYBB for almost 10 years now. Haven't seen a recent guide that explains how to optimize a MYBB forum for speed so I'll be sharing our experience so far. Its not perfect but hopefully our journey will help someone.

We made all pages have the same header and footer to give the entire website a custom and consistent look.

Most recently, We have added PWA support. Push notification is in place (using Onesignal). We're currently working on targeted push notification (e.g for subscribed threads, PMs etc).

I'll be updating this thread with the actual things We did so feel free so subscribe or check back from time to time.
Update: added push notification (via onesignal) when you receive a pm or get quoted
