I'm having a problem with installation on a Windows server.
I uploaded all the files using Filezilla, then set the file permissions all to 777.
I then followed the Installation wizard.
When I got to Database configuration, I did not add anything to the fields following the instructions, but when I clicked on NEXT I got the error message 

Could not connect to the database server at 'localhost' with the supplied username and password. Are you sure the hostname and user details are correct?

I filled in all the fields except database server hostname, which I do not know.

This is marked as solved so I presume you found the correct details, but for posterity, either the hostname needs to be something other than localhost which your host would provide, or the credentials are incorrect.
