So, I installed mytabs on mybb 1.8 but the problem is the author asked to not activate the plugin from plugins tab in admin cp,

Just go to forums and posts and there I should be able to find mytabs on the sidebar. But for some odd reason I am unable to find mytabs on my acp. Please help me how to install mytabs> on mybb. I tried using both of the mytabs,

Is it compatible with PHP8?

I don't actually know if it is comparable with php8 but even with Jessie's mytabs plugin, it shows error on line 298 and if I downgrade from php8 it'll crash other plugins.

Any fix. Or if I can get direct link e g. Mydomain.com/admin/mytabs then I could've tried.

I have tried changing versions from php 8 to php 7.4 still it doesn't work. What seem to be the problem?

Okay I gave up on this. I think this plugin doesn't support mybb 1.8.2 and that seem to be the problem I concluded. I will try with tabbed menu by Jessie.

Edit: Okay found the issue with mytabs plugin. The plugin was crashing/not showing up because the new mybb 1.8 acp has different ACP codes and the old mybb 1.6 has different codes. Although the author said it was backward compatible with mybb 1.8 but the plugin is not backward compatible, rather the javascript crashes the whole mybb system. Anyways, i installed Tabbed Menu 2.0.2 by Jessie from mybb central. I had it downloaded on my harddrive. Had a lot of issues to make it work for mybb 1.8 but i fixed. You can see my post if anyone needs trouble shooting..
