Am trying to upgrade to the latest 1832, but when I try to run a full database backup from the MyBB control dashboard, it only creates a GZIP of 374Kb for some reason. Is thia correct as it strikes me as tiny and I do not want to mess it up irreversably?
The size of the database depends on the number of entries in it. The backups are also compressed.
What size were previous backups?
The db backup of a fresh installed forum is round about 150kb or lower.

Yep, I think I've been stupid here as all my previoud GZIPs are about this sort of size. I apologise for wasting your time and I will upgrade..
