Fixes I tried:

As an user suggested, I tried changing mybb php v to 7.4 from 8 and still it doesn't show in ACP forum and post. How do I get it working?

So, I installed mytabs on mybb 1.8 but the problem is the author asked to not activate the plugin from plugins tab in admin cp,

Just go to forums and posts and there I should be able to find mytabs on the sidebar. But for some odd reason I am unable to find mytabs on my acp. Please help me how to install mytabs> on mybb. I tried using both of the mytabs,

Enable/Disabling (this is in the plugin, don't use mybb's activate/deactivate unless you want to risk losing your set tabs)

Does mytabs not support mybb 1.8x??? I tried php 7.2 7.3 7.4 8.0 8.1 and nothing works.

I tried everything in my disposal. But it still doesn't show up in forums and posts tab in Admin Control Panel.

Please anyone know how to get mytabs working on mybb 1.8, I've uploaded the bellow linked version, it says it works with 1.8 but it doesn't show up in forums and posts tab in mybb.

The /inc/plugins/mytabs.php says it's 18x compatible.  Last updated 2015, so keep that in mind.  Older plugins can be problematic - depending on a number of factors.

I haven't tried this plugin, but would take issue with the project description about activating / deactivating.  Deactivating then reactivating might result in some plugin data loss, but you have to activate first.  The how-to-install.txt states:

How else you gonna' do that but ACP plugins?

I gave up on this plugin and tried Jessie's tabbed menu plugin. But yet again I am facing some issues with the stylesheet I think. Could you give a look onto this? https://community.mybb.com/thread-237015.html i have faced a new issue, the tab menu works perfectly fine with default template, but won't work with my custom css.
