Hello everybody. I'm evaluating different forum technologies for my site. I really like mybb but there seems to be a major issue and that is how it renders on mobile devices. Everything is so tiny and I have to squint to see text and buttons are very hard to click on. It feels like the site isnt optimized for mobile devices at all. But surely that cant be correct? Mybb is a hugely popular and actively maintained software with hundreds of millions of pageviews across the internet. I was really bewildered and dissapointed to see the page render like that. Is it really true that there is essentially NO mobile support? What is the reason for that? Also, Is this a systemic issue or are custom themes able to fix the issue? If so, can anyone please link to a theme that renders correctly on mobile devices? Thanks :)

The standard theme of Mybb is still based on a <table> design that is not responsive, even not able to adapt to smaller width.
Your phone browser shrink down the whole page to the most possible smallest width and display in fullscreen, this way the page content appears tiny.
To be fully compatible with all kinds of display dimensions, you need to use a custom theme that is responsive, Mostafa already mentioned.
Else you can change the theme yourself and make it best suitable for your needs. That takes a lot of effort as you mandatory have to get rid of the tables and use flexible and/or floating elements instead.

I use Emerald and it looks strange on Mobile. It cuts off over half the forum down the middle. I'll have to visit your site from my phone to see how it looks.
