hi

please help meeee.

i had 1.2.4 upgrading to 1.2.9.
just uploaded all files.
went to /install/upgrade.php
and get the following error:

what do i do?
please help!!

ok.
i changed line 25 to

//require_once MYBB_ROOT."inc/db_".$config['dbtype'].".php";
require_once MYBB_ROOT."inc/db_mysql.php";


now i get this error:

MySQL error: 2002
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2)

turn out my config.php was empty. i dont know why.
i replaces it with the old one.
now i get this message:



Error
The installer is currently locked, please remove 'lock' from the install directory to continue

someone please help?


my admin opens just fine.
however, the forum itself does not open at all
all i see is this:

its fine now.

i always figure things out myself, once i start asking questions on the forum.
