Good evening!

I had a MyBB several years ago, and at some point my whole website stopped working. I have only just recently gotten around to trying to fix it, which included migrating my website to a new host. My website is live again, but my MyBB is giving me an error message:

Quote:MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2002 - Connection refused
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

My concern is not about restoring the BB as is, but I would really like to recover the posts that were there - I had been using it to keep some of my creative writing and I kind of want to get those back. So if there's a place in my files that has the posts and I can just copy them out, that would be fine.

Any suggestions? Keep in mind that I haven't used MyBB (or any web design) in several years, so I really have no idea what I'm looking at.
Quote:This occurs when your MySQL server is down or experiencing an issue and MyBB cannot connect to it. You will have to contact your host with this error message.
